United Farm Workers March and Voting Rights Act Language Extenstion

Members of the United Farm Workers union embark on a thousand-mile march across California to rally the state’s farm workers.

The Voting Rights Act is also extended to include requirements for polling stations to have election information, including ballots, in any minority language that more than 5% of the citizens of voting age speak.
