Sociologist Nancy Foner has edited One Out of Three: Immigrant New York in the Twenty-First Century (2013) an anthology featuring “in-depth portraits of diverse ethnic populations, revealing the surprising new realities of immigrant life in twenty-first-century New York City.”


Ethnic Historians and the Mainstream: Shaping the Nation’s Immigration Story, co-edited by Alan M. Kraut and David A Gerber (2013) present “original essays by historians whose own ethnic backgrounds shaped the choices they have made about their own research and writing as scholars.”
